GENERAL 

  • After-school math tutoring is in the library from 2:45 to 3:45. Math Tutoring will be available every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
 
ATHLETICS 
  • FS Softball will be released at 9am
  • Track will be released at 11:15am
  • JV Softball will be released at 1:15pm
  • JV and Varsity Baseball will be released at 1:45pm. You must go to 7th or you will be marked absent.
 
ACTIVITIES 
 

CLUBS

  • Extra Life Gaming Party Sat. Mar 3, 12-6 PM, CHS cafeteria. Play Rock Band, Just Dance, and much more. Prize drawing for a Nintendo Switch! $10 donation = games, food, prizes. More-info-seek-library.
 
FROM THE CAREER CENTER
  • Bakersfield College is hosting a "Want to Teach?" free informational event March 20th. Learn about the programs at Bakersfield College that lead to careers in Education. Flyers with more information are available in the Career Center.
  • There will be a meeting for seniors who applied to CSUB on Feb. 28th, 3rd period only in the PAC. The Rep. from Cal State Bakersfield will be here discussing "What's Next".
  • The North of the River Chamber of Commerce Scholarship is now open! Applicants must be college bound seniors. The application is online and due April 3, 2018. 
  • The Senior Scholarship of the Week: The Juan Arrache, Jr. Memorial Trust Fund. Applicant must be a KCHS senior in good standing. A type-written essay between five and seven hundred fifty words on the subject of honesty, integrity and courage. Award amount is $2,000 to be used anyway you wish. For more information pick up an application in the Career Center.

 

 

  

  • The Career Center is open to students before school, during 1st thru 5th periods, and is located in the main office by the counseling offices.
