Freshman year is an exciting time because it's a fresh start to explore new subjects, make new friends, join clubs and sports teams, and discover your interests and passions while navigating the new environment of high school.

 

High school counselors can help freshman students by providing guidance on academic planning, managing social transitions, addressing anxieties related to the new environment, supporting career exploration, and offering resources for personal issues.
