The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is an important component of the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF).
All School Districts are required to prepare an LCAP, which describes how they intend to meet annual goals for all students, with specific activities to address state and local priorities identified in the California Education Code, Section 52060(d).
These forums provide a unique opportunity for the public to be directly involved in enriching our community and the educational initiatives of Kern County.
Parents, educators, business owners, non-profit organizations, and local leaders are encouraged to attend these meetings. Together, we can build the right plan for our students.
